Jackson Nieuwland
About
Jackson Nieuwland is a genderqueer writer, editor, and librarian for Te Whanganui-a-Tara. Their debut poetry collection I Am A Human Being will be published by Compound Press in June 2020. They are also the author, with Carolyn DeCarlo, or the chapbooks Bound: an ode to falling in love (Compound Press 2014) and Twilight Zone (NAP 2013). Jackson co-founded the reading/zine series Food Court and edited the anthology LEFT: A Book Of Words And Pictures. They have also guest edited for several publications, including Turbine | Kapohau, Mimicry, 4th Floor, and ƒault. That's about it.
